To Myaria and Lothe:

I miss you both dearly, of course, but things are going well here in Tempest Weyr. At least, they are for me. The recent hatching was a success with ten healthy babies Impressing. There were no duds, and no dragonets who fled Between. All in all, that's a wonderful outcome.

I do wish I could hear more about your doings more often, but the occasional letter will have to do. Maybe at some point I'll be able to come visit you back in High Reaches; that seems more likely than the two of you being able to come all the way out here to visit me. I do still want you to meet Kybeleth still, although I know I tell you that almost every time. She's beautiful, and I know you'd love her almost as much as I do.

You must tell me of what you are working on at the moment. Are there any large works underway? Anything particularly magnificent. I'm sure you can both paint me a picture in words.

All My Best,
Kas'ia

To Myaria and Lothe:

As always, I miss you both dearly. I do wish I could see you instead of writing; have you considered, perhaps, coming out here? Certainly Tempest could use Weavers, be it in the Hold or in the Weyr. Even in the Hold, it would be no trouble at all for us to see each other, and I'd be ecstatic to have you close again.

I did love hearing about your current tapestries; send me more about them! They must be nearly done by now, if you have not finished them. Your way with words may not equal your skill with thread, but you still tell me well of the beauty of your work.

Lothe, thank you indeed for the scarf! It is turning cold, and I want little more than to be reminded of warmer times.

The Senior Queen rose, and we have a new Weyrleader. Odd, to think I will never be in that position because of the color of my dragon. Not that I'd want to be Weyrleader! Maybe one day I will be a wingsecond or wingleader, and I need no further ambition than that.

All My Best,
Kas'ia
