The shipment was ready, neatly packaged and positioned in the main square. Oh, and the crate of fruit and dyed cloth was there, too.

Mina felt inordinately silly standing there in her oversized coat. The sticky heat of summer no longer held to Southern Boll, but it was still too warm for coats such as this. It never got very cold here, in the south. She was surprised the tailers even knew how to make coats this heavy.

She was starting to sweat. She felt gross.

Finally, a blip of color flashed in the sky and the dragon and rider began their descent.  Green... The dragon was green.  Maybe there would be others coming? She peered past the green into the sky, but no spark of metallic came for her.

Wow. Okay.

Here she was, a lady of Southern Boll, daughter to the Lord Holder, and they sent a green dragon to ferry her? She glanced over her shoulder at her mother, who stood up the steps of the hold proper. The woman didn't look at her, though... And her face with inscrutable. Mina pouted, but turned back forward where the dragon would land.

The least they could have done was send a brown, she thought.  Her fingers idly reached to scratch the chin of the little brown flit that had his nose poked out of her purse, where he was presently snoozing away. A bronze would have been more proper. She didn't bother to hide her disappointment as the dragon finally landed. Why should she? Clearly Tempest was insulting her.
